The rescue emergency number 144 and the police emergency number 133 might sometimes only be reached if the area code 0316 was put in front. Late on Wednesday evening, both emergency organizations gave the all-clear. “The disruption of the emergency number 144 throughout Styria has been lifted. The emergency number 144 is available once more throughout Styria without disruption,” the Styrian Red Cross announced at around 10:15 p.m. via Facebook. The Styrian police announced at around 9:30 p.m. that the technical problem had been resolved.
