Former US President Donald Trump has filed an appeal in the ongoing fraud case in New York. In the document filed Wednesday, the leading Republican presidential contender objected, among other things, to Judge Arthur Engoron’s ruling that he and his family business might be liable for fraud. The appeal process before the Appellate Division might take longer than the proceedings already underway. This should last until December. Trump’s lawyers announced an appeal following Engoron’s decision on September 26th.
