Washington – Almost five months before the Republicans vote for the first time on their candidate for the 2024 US presidential election, ex-incumbent Donald Trump is ahead in polls by a wide margin. According to a survey of the likely participants in the Republican primary in the US state of Iowa released Monday, 42 percent support Trump, 19 percent support Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and 9 percent support Senator Tim Scott.
