Stormy Daniels, who is at the center of a criminal case once morest Donald Trump, said she does not believe the former US president deserves to go to jail if he is guilty of concealing hush money payments to her.
“I don’t think his crimes once morest me deserve him to go to jail,” Daniels, 44, said during an interview with Piers Morgan of “Fox Nation” that will air on Thursday. “I feel like the other things he did, if found guilty, definitely deserve.”
Trump, 76, also faces criminal investigations in Washington state for attempting to change the outcome of the 2020 election and mishandling confidential documents, and he also faces a separate criminal investigation in Georgia in his attempt to change the outcome of that lost state.
Manhattan prosecutors accuse Trump of trying to cover up election violations during his successful 2016 campaign.
Trump is the first US president ever to face criminal charges, either while in office or following leaving office.
