On Sunday evening at a birthday party in Trun, a 30-year-old marksman showed his weapons to the guests. According to initial findings, a shot from a Karabiner 31 was unintentionally fired at this presentation around 6:30 p.m. and hit a 25-year-old man in the head, as the Graubünden cantonal police wrote in a media release.
Despite resuscitation, the man died on the spot. The gun owner has been arrested. Together with the public prosecutor’s office, the Graubünden cantonal police have started investigating this alleged shooting accident.
