Tucker Carlson Interview. “Poles invented Ukrainians” and other lies of Putin

“Lenin created such a Ukraine”

Putin does not explain the partitions of the First Polish Republic to his American interlocutor. He doesn’t go into details. – Then, in the time of Catherine II, Russia returned to all its historical lands, including the south and the west. And it was like that until the revolution, says Putin.

The host of the Kremlin also decided not to go into the details of the Polish-Bolshevik war. He does not explain who attacked whom and who won, he only briefly mentioned the Treaty of Riga. He delved into the history of the creation of Soviet Ukraine. He stated that Stanin insisted that the (Soviet) states should be autonomous within one country. – But for some reason, the founder of the Soviet Union, Lenin, decided that they had the right to leave the Soviet Union. […] It was Lenin, the founder of the USSR, who created such Ukraine, he argued.

Putin talked about Novorossiya, about the Russian-Turkish wars, and jumped from one era to another. Tucker Carlson listened and couldn’t deny him. He only stated that Putin had “encyclopedic knowledge.” So the Kremlin host got so excited that he shared his “encyclopedic knowledge” about the causes of World War II.

“Poles forced Hitler to start World War II”

Why did Putin think World War II started? – Hitler wanted, we have all the documents in the archives, to sign an agreement on friendship and cooperation with Poland, but he demanded that Poland give back to Germany the so-called Danzig Corridor (the so-called Polish corridor – ed.), which connected Germany with Königsberg and East Prussia. After World War I, this part of the territory was given to Poland, and instead of the city of Danzig, Gdańsk appeared.

– Hitler urged them to surrender peacefully, but the Poles refused, said Putin, accusing the Poles of participating in the “partition of Czechoslovakia together with the Third Reich.” – Because the Poles did not give up the Danzig Corridor, they played a trick and forced Hitler to start World War II with them. Why did the war start in Poland on September 1, 1939? Because Poles didn’t want to get along, says the Russian dictator.
