Tunisair plans special flights for Tunisians stranded in Morocco

Tunisair said in a press release published on Friday January 7, 2022 that it had scheduled a new special flight on January 21, 2022, for the repatriation of Tunisians stranded in Morocco. The National Airports Office has announced the extension of the suspension of international flights until January 31, due to the epidemiological situation and the appearance of the Omicron variant in Morocco.

After this new extension, the airline Tunisair has indicated that it will continue to schedule new special flights in January according to requests, to repatriate Tunisians stranded in Morocco.

As a reminder, the Moroccan authorities had decided to suspend from November 29, 2021, all direct passenger flights to Morocco. Tunisian media have reported a very strong demand from Tunisians stranded in Morocco and the increase in return tickets for the latter.
