For their part, the prices of manufactured goods increased by 8.6% due to the rise in the price of building materials by 10.2%, clothing products by 10.4% and cleaning products. household current of 7.9%.

For services, the 5.6% increase in prices, year on year, is explained by the increase in the prices of restaurant, cafe and hotel services by 8.1% and rents by 4.8%.

In addition, said note shows that the underlying inflation rate (excluding food and energy) fell to 6.8% in July, after 7.2% the previous month.

The prices of free products (not framed), meanwhile, increased by 9.3%, year on year, noted the INS, adding that the prices of framed products marked an increase of 4.6%, while that free food products increased by 13.1%.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 1% in July, after 0.7% a month earlier, said the same source, explaining this development by the acceleration in prices of the group of food and beverage products from 1.9% and group prices for furniture, household items and routine household maintenance by 1.1% and group prices for leisure and culture services by 1.5%, as well as prices for restaurant services and hotels by 1.4%.

In monthly variation, the prices of food products rose by 1.9%, reflecting the increase in the prices of poultry (7.6%), vegetables (3.3%), sheep meat (2.6%) , edible oils (1.9%) and eggs (2.9%).
