With Syria’s latest death toll at 5,914, the death toll in both countries has risen above 50,000. The latest earthquake also damaged some earthquake-resistant buildings. Tenders and contracts to build new homes have been completed. The process is moving very quickly. Tents have been sent to many homeless people, officials said.
