Turkey-Syria earthquake: death toll passes 24,000

Ankara| The death toll from the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria has exceeded 24,000. After the 7.8 magnitude earthquake, more than 100 followingshocks were reported in Turkey and Syria. It also included an followingshock of magnitude 7.5. The official estimate is that the number of injured in both countries is close to 80,768.
