Turkey has launched attacks on US-backed Kurdish forces in northern Syria. On Thursday, the United States shot down Turkey’s drones in a controlled operating zone near Hasakah, Syria. The attack followed this. The Turkish Ministry of Defense said in a statement that around 30 locations in Talrifat, Jazira and Derik areas were destroyed.
