A Turkish aid ship carrying field hospitals and aid for the Gaza Strip arrived at the port of Al-Arish in Egypt, close to the Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip, according to what a port official told Agence France-Presse.

It is the first aid ship carrying field hospitals for Gaza to arrive in Egypt at a time when all Gaza Governorate hospitals are out of service, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health.

The Turkish Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, announced the arrival of a ship loaded with medical aid for Gaza to Egypt, according to the Turkish News Agency.Anatolia“.

On his account on the “X” platform, the Minister of Health confirmed the arrival of the Turkish aid ship to the port of Al-Arish, and published a video clip of it.

The minister indicated that medical services for the Gaza Strip are being coordinated with the Egyptian side.

In a related context, an official in the Turkish Ministry of Health confirmed to Agence France-Presse that “the ship that arrived in Al-Arish carried equipment, supplies, and ambulances to establish eight field hospitals.”

He added that Turkey requested the approval of the Egyptian authorities to establish these hospitals in Al-Arish, which is 40 kilometers from the Rafah crossing, explaining that the Egyptian authorities “have already given us the green light and we will establish the hospitals in the places they have specified for us.”

Since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas on October 7, the Rafah crossing, the only outlet for the besieged Gaza Strip to the outside world, has been opened intermittently and limited aid has entered from it, while a number of the wounded who were injured in an Israeli bombing on the Strip and hundreds of foreigners and dual nationals have been prevented.

On Monday, the General Authority for Crossings and Borders in Gaza announced a list of more than five hundred people with foreign nationalities authorized to travel from the Gaza Strip through the Rafah land crossing to Egypt, according to Al Hurra’s correspondent.

On Sunday, the Rafah crossing resumed operation after being disrupted for two days, receiving a number of injured and injured Palestinians who were transferred to hospitals in the Egyptian North Sinai Governorate, in addition to the arrival of hundreds of dual nationals and foreign nationals.

The Egyptian side of the crossing is witnessing a state of alert and readiness to receive an additional number of injured people, as well as dual nationals, after completing their procedures. Dozens of trucks equipped with humanitarian, medical and food aid are also waiting to be allowed to cross into the Gaza Strip.

On Sunday, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced that it had received seventy-six trucks from its Egyptian counterpart, loaded with humanitarian aid.

The trucks contain food, water, relief aid, medical supplies, and medicines, bringing the total number of trucks received so far to nine hundred and eighty trucks, with an average equivalent to forty-two trucks per day, while Israel has not allowed the entry of fuel until now.

Hospitals in northern Gaza are “out of service”… talk of “corpses on the roads and thousands of people stranded”

Violent bombing and battles are taking place between the Israeli army and the Hamas movement in the vicinity of hospitals in northern Gaza, threatening the lives of thousands of Palestinians stranded in health facilities and threatening a “humanitarian” catastrophe, as Palestinian officials reveal to Al-Hurra website.

The war broke out between Israel and Hamas after a surprise attack launched by the movement on military sites and residential areas adjacent to the Gaza Strip on October 7, which led to the killing of 1,200 people, most of them civilians, including women and children, and 239 people were kidnapped, according to the Israeli authorities.

Since then, Israel has responded with intense air, sea, and ground bombardment on the besieged Gaza Strip, followed by a ground operation that is still ongoing. The death toll in Gaza reached 11,180 people, including 4,609 children and 3,100 women, in addition to the injury of 28,200 people, in addition to more than 2,700 people are missing under the rubble, according to what the Hamas Ministry of Health announced on Sunday.
