AALBORG:A 31-year-old man from the Aalborg area was arrested on Thursday afternoon after the police received reports of a commotion between a woman and a man on John F. Kennedy’s place in Aalborg in front of the railway station and Kennedyarkaden at 2.50 pm.
Witnesses have seen a knife, but the North Jutland Police cannot yet confirm or deny this.
– There are some effects that have been brought in, and I don’t have an overview of what they are, says head of duty at North Jutland Police Karsten Højrup.
The commotion probably arose after an argument between the two involved.
– They know each other. There is some ex-relationship between them, says the warden.
– It is probably one of the reasons why they have come to argue, he elaborates.
The police have arrested the 31-year-old man and are currently in the process of finding out what the man should be charged with.
– It will probably be something with some threats to life or violence. We are working on that right now, says Karsten Højrup.
The warden says that neither the woman nor the man was injured.
