The enigmatic spot in front of the “Tagesschau”
A security company advertises on SRF during prime time. Who is behind this? And who needs personal protection in Switzerland anyway?
“Anyone who is in the public eye should be able to protect themselves from the downside,” says the voice from the off. A man in a suit and tie climbs into the waiting limousine, escaping the paparazzi’s flashing lights. He wears sunglasses in the middle of the night. The man on the back seat reaches into a bowl of nuts, sips from a glass with a wedge of lemon, and treats himself to a power nap – while the car glides towards Ticino. The black Mercedes with St. Gallen license plates stops in front of a hotel: flanked by seven bodyguards, the man walks through the park. “Protect yourself!” says the voice from the off.
