Vienna (OTS) – The urge to be “beautiful” has played a decisive role since ancient times. Not only for women, men too have always been spinning in the merry-go-round of vanities. archyde news suggests that good looks and a good life are directly related, social media fuel an alleged ideal. Young people in particular emulate those who present themselves almost flawlessly on Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Co using filters. However, the fact that influencers go under the knife at the age of 20 in order to survive on the market is often ignored. Plastic surgery is becoming routine, cosmetic procedures are becoming a must, going to the gym is a must, and more and more often the athletically trimmed body is being elevated to an absolute work of art with tattoos! But when are we enough for ourselves? A film by ORF Vorarlberg about body cult and obsession with beauty and the tireless pursuit of perfection.
