The 29-year-old spoke out on Instagram after her fall. “Down but not beaten,” Tviberg wrote, continuing: “The knee is damaged and my season is over. I’m going home for further tests to figure out what to do next. Thanks for all the love and friendly news,” she thanked fans and fellow skiers.
Various ski stars expressed their condolences on Instagram. “I’m so sorry! We love you,” wrote American Breezy Johnson. Tina Weirather also wished the Norwegian a speedy recovery.
