TweetYear: the “That day” for #twitter

Last year ? What are you tweeting?

The first tweet was posted on Twitter in March 2016 by Jack Dorsey. At the time the network was called Twitter.

Today, 336 million users use Twitter.

Last week, at the agency, we wondered if we had the memory of what we shared on the social network at 280 characters. It seems not :).

So we decided to dig into Twitter’s advanced search to see what our past tweets were.

And then we thought you might want to do the same. So we made a web page that allows you to find what you were saying on the network the same day as today, but a year ago (or two, or even until March 21, 2006 if you are @jack). Basically the equivalent of Facebook’s “That Day” feature.

The result of our tweaks is TweetYear:

  • Enter a username,
  • Click,
  • and find all the links to your tweets from previous years.
