O Twitch app is another one to receive the stories resource for your content creators. The company itself announced the news a few days before its annual event TwitchCon. Therefore, users must already have the new tool available within the platform’s app.

In general, this functionality needs no introduction, as it is available on every social media application nowadays. In fact, one of the most recent to have the feature was Telegram, but it is now possible to post videos and photos that expire automatically on Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram.

In the case of Twitch, the tool can be another way for streamers to have contact with their fans and followers. Furthermore, it is an effective way to maintain profile engagement even when the author of the live broadcasts is not online on the platform.

Another use for this tool is to be able to publish small updates throughout the day for your followers. In this sense, the streamer can warn if something unforeseen occurs with its scheduled transmission, warning that it may start later than initially announced.

Content creators can post updates with text, change the font and font color, and resize and position the writing wherever they want. Likewise, it is possible to add stickers and if anyone has any doubts regarding the duration, the posts are available for up to 48 hours in the app.

According to Twitch, the Stories creation feature is restricted to partners and affiliates only, while the release will occur gradually over the next week. Users must still have done at least one live stream in the last 30 days.
