Al-Marsad newspaper – agencies: Twitter announced its intention to re-launch a new version of its subscription service, “Twitter Blue”, at a higher price for “Apple” phone users.
The company said in a tweet today, Sunday, that users can subscribe to the revamped service, which will allow editing tweets, uploading 1080p videos, and getting a blue check mark to verify the mail account, for $ 8 a month via the web, but for $ 11. per month through “Apple iOS”.
Twitter did not explain why it charged Apple users more than others on the web, but there were media reports that the company was looking for ways to offset the fees it was charged in the App Store.
