Two 17-year-old inmates incarcerated in the Quiévrechain juvenile penitentiary, in the north of France, escaped during the night from Sunday to Monday by sawing off their bars, we learned on Monday from a close source of the file, confirming information from France Bleu. They would have left for Belgium.
One was in pre-trial detention for rape and the second for murder, according to this source, who claims that they used saw blades. Both were in neighboring cells, she said.
According to a Ufap union source, the detainees, after sawing off their bars, would have “braided their sheets to climb the roof and get down on the other side” while “a vehicle was waiting for them outside”.
“The license plate was noted by the city’s video surveillance and they left for Belgium, very close to the establishment,” added this source.
