Mexico City | Two US citizens have been killed following being kidnapped by an armed group in Mexico. Two other Americans were rescued. They returned to their homeland.
On March 3, an armed group kidnapped four people who came to Mexico by car from Texas, USA. The American citizens traveled to the city of Matamoros in the northeastern state of Tamaulipas. They went to Mexico for cosmetic surgery.
24-year-old Jose N has been arrested in connection with the incident. The two rescued people were taken to America under heavy security. One of them is seriously injured.
