Then, the analysis of the victim’s telephone communications made it possible to identify a resident of Gembloux, who was quickly considered a suspect. The man confessed in front of the investigators, he admitted to having killed the victim by shooting him twice at point-blank range.
A second suspect was later arrested. He allegedly helped the killer carry the body to the car and set it on fire.
The motive for the crime remains to be determined. We will probably know more as soon as the investigating judge in charge of the case has been able to hear the two men.
