Two attractive away games at great odds

There is full focus on the evening matches of this weekend’s SHL double and there is an appeal for double away scalps. Rögle and especially Oskarshamn are completely under the ice and against in-form top teams they weigh too lightly on Saturday.

Rögle – Ferry town: 2 @ 2.26

Färjestad has found its way back to autumn form, regained the league lead and got both Lagacé and Lindbom back in the goalkeeper position – the latter made a comeback in the victory against Leksand. FBK had full control of the match in Tegera Arena and the feeling is that Mitell’s wolves are really going all in for the series victory.

In the Rögle camp, it has been gloomy all season and the Angel Islanders have seriously interfered in the qualifying battle. The offensive game has come to a standstill and the effort in the home cod against Örebro last Thursday was downright lousy. Tired clichés such as “playing simple” and “keeping the opponents on the outside” are chattered about, but against a reborn Färjestad, something completely extra is required.

Second place feels highly probable and at just over 2.20 it will be a no-brainer to settle down in the Värmland boat.

Oskarshamn – Frölunda: 2 @ 1.61

The situation is hopeless for Oskarshamn and a couple of days ago the club announced that Oksanen and Karlkvist will be saved for the qualifiers. But now it is clear that “Karla” will miss the rest of the season and it is an incredibly heavy setback of course. Despite the fact that MoDo did not get up to par last Thursday, IKO still suffered its eighth straight loss in Ö-vik earlier this week.

That the machine Frölunda should waste points in the Be-Ge Hockey Center is a real longshot. It may be a slight underestimation, but otherwise nothing speaks for a favorite case in Småland. Firma Ruohomaa/Strömwall has grown into a sharp duo that single-handedly defeated Växjö last Thursday and this was the seventh straight victory for the Gothenburgers.

The prices may be depressed, but here it is still difficult to overlook Oskarshamn’s collapse and lack of motivation. Clear away win.

“Hedeen” is a hockey nerd like no other, based in Värmland and Karlstad. Has practiced the sport myself at a serious level right up until 2022 and also worked for several large betting forums for many years. His major strength in the area is the Hockeyettan, but also a great interest in the SHL. In the summers, tries to get in as many rounds of golf as possible and in 2020 had the most number of rounds played in Sweden.
