A tragedy shocked the inhabitants of the El Maco sector of La Cruz de Maturín, Monagas states.
In the afternoon of this Thursday, a grenade exploded in the sector and ended the lives of two minor brothers.
The attack occurred in a raid that was being used to pickpocket stolen cars. The two children, 5 and 6 years old, were playing in the patio of their home when the device exploded, he reported. The Monagas Newspaper.
So far there are no further details of how the little ones had access to the grenade.
