A shooting broke out in the Campo Valdés neighborhood, in the northeast of Medellín, during the night of this Friday. According to the report of the authorities, Two criminals murdered a man in the sector and, after being surprised by the Quadrant Police, there was an exchange of fire.
At first, criminals managed to murder a man, shooting him several times with a firearm. The fact was reported by inhabitants of the area to the 123 line, and one of the uniformed men answered the call and crossed paths with the alleged criminals.
According to the police report, he saw the need to activate his endowment weapon, shooting down one of the two criminals and leaving the other injured. The latter was left with three firearm injuries, to the left buttock, knee and arm on the same side. In a captured condition, he was sent to the Polyclinic.
The crossfire also affected three civilians who were passing through the area.. One, aged 26, was injured in the forearm; another, 20 years old and a foreigner, registers a bullet wound in the right arm; and another one, also a foreigner, in the ankle of the left leg.
