Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced, on Saturday, the execution of a death sentence, ending one of the perpetrators in Jeddah Governorate, who killed his pregnant wife with two fetuses and two sons, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The ministry said in a statement that “Mishaal bin Humaid bin Hudayd al-Sa’edi, a Saudi national, killed his wife and two children while they were sleeping in his house, by stabbing them with a knife in separate places of their bodies, which led to their death, and caused the death of two fetuses in his wife’s womb.” Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The statement indicated that “the aforementioned perpetrator was arrested, and the investigation with him resulted in an accusation against him of committing his crime, and by referring him to the competent court, a document was issued against him proving his guilt in what was attributed to him, and the ruling was to kill him as an end to his killing of the victims, and the ruling was upheld by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, And a royal order was issued to implement what was decided by the Shari’a.”
And the Saudi Ministry of Interior announced, on Saturday, the implementation of the death sentence in retribution for one of the perpetrators in the Taif Governorate, in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, according to a statement by the ministry published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The ministry said in the statement, “Faisal bin Badr bin Mohsen Al-Shaibani, a Saudi national, killed Tawfiq bin Salman Al-Otaibi, a Saudi national, by strangling him, which led to his death, and throwing his body in a desert area.”
The statement added that “the security authorities succeeded in arresting the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in him being accused of committing his crime, and by referring him to the competent court. And a royal order was issued to enforce what was decided by law against the aforementioned perpetrator,” according to the Saudi agency.
And the Ministry of the Interior stated in the statement, “The death sentence was executed in retribution for the perpetrator, Faisal bin Badr bin Mohsen Al-Shaibani, on Saturday, in Taif, in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.”
