81-year-old found in Klopeinersee
An 81-year-old man from Wolfsberg apparently died in a swimming accident in Klopeinersee (Völkermarkt district) on Saturday. As the Carinthian state police announced in the evening, around 4:50 p.m., two pedal boat drivers discovered the man who was floating lifeless in the lake regarding 150 meters from the shore.
A doctor present at the lido pulled him onto a SUP and carried out resuscitation measures until the emergency doctor arrived, but these were unsuccessful.
