Two goals not given: Schalke struggles – only 0-0 against Wolfsburg

Schalke 04 missed a home win against VfL Wolfsburg and remains bottom of the table. Two supposed goals of the Royal Blues did not count because of offside positions.

Due to the 0-0 draw against Wolfsburg on Friday (02/10/2023), Schalke is four points behind the relegation place. It was Schalke’s third 0-0 in a row. After three defeats in competitive games, Wolfsburg got a point again for the first time and remains in seventh place for the time being.

Schalke’s team was celebrated by the fans – but the players remained disappointed in the end. “I can’t blame the team”said Schalke’s coach Thomas Reis on ARD radio. “I saw a mentality team. But we won’t give up”

Wolfsburg gets a penalty early – and misses
