by Alexandra Hartman Editor-in-Chief

Two high school students were stabbed and slightly injured on Wednesday in Dijon, following a first similar attack the day before on a student from the same high school, we learned Thursday from a judicial source. At the start of the followingnoon on Wednesday, a 17-year-old student from Hippolyte-Fontaine high school was stabbed several times by several people, receiving light wounds, the prosecution said. Shortly following, another student from the same high school, also 17, was targeted in a similar stabbing attack on a city bus. He was slightly injured, according to the same source.

On Tuesday, another 16-year-old student, also from Lycée Hippolyte-Fontaine, was stabbed several times by a group of people.

Already several stab wounds to another student on Tuesday

The student was attacked during his break when he had left high school. He then ran back to his establishment, pursued by several unidentified people who had inflicted several stab wounds on him. He managed to return to the establishment where he was taken care of.

No arrest has so far taken place in the two files, indicated the public prosecutor in Dijon, Olivier Caracotch, specifying that the two flagrante investigations opened might be joined “if an obvious link appears”. The various surveillance videos are still being processed.
