It is a terrible drama that played out, in the night from Thursday to Friday, in the Sainte-Marguerite district, in Liège.
Around three o’clock in the morning, a car caught fire while it was driving, rue Simon Radoux. At this time, three people were inside. While one of them was freed from the blaze by a witness to the accident, the other two remained stuck in the burning vehicle.
When the emergency services arrived, there was unfortunately nothing more to be done for them. Their lifeless bodies were taken out of the car once the disaster was under control.
The injured man was taken to hospital. His condition is stable, but the man has not yet been heard. We therefore do not know, for the moment, the exact circumstances of this tragic accident.
The identification of the victims had not yet been carried out, at the time of writing these lines.
The road remained closed to traffic during the intervention.
The Liège parque was notified and sent an expert to the scene of the accident.
