The local authorities in the Mediouna region reported that two people were killed, while a third was seriously injured (between the ages of 30 and 67 years), in an accident involving a storage tank for used oils, recorded after noon today, Thursday, in a warehouse located in the Sidi Messaoud children’s roundabout in the Sidi Hajjaj community. Oued Hissar, Mediouna province.
Immediately upon being notified of the accident, the local authorities and the interests of the Royal Gendarmerie and Civil Protection moved to the scene in order to take the necessary measures. The bodies of the two victims were transferred to the mortuary in Casablanca, while the injured person was transferred to the regional hospital in Mediouna to receive the necessary treatment.
The same source added that a search was opened by the Royal Gendarmerie, under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, to find out all the circumstances of this incident.
