As revealed earlier today, American billionaire David Blitzer, co-owner of several clubs including Crystal Palace in England, has made a takeover offer for AS Saint-Étienne.
Already committed to Crystal Palace, a club which is notably a member of the Global Football Alliance dear to Bernard Caïazzo, but also to Augsburg (Germany)The Hague (Netherlands) et Waasland-Beveren (Belgium), the acquisition of AS Saint-Étienne would therefore be part of its desire to create a multi-club group.
RMC confirms the interest of this wealthy American whose personal fortune is estimated at more than 5 billion dollars. First clarification, the offer made would be through Bolt Football Holding, a company and not an investment fund. In addition, there would be two buyout offers for the Forez club. One in case of maintenance in Ligue 1 and the other in case of relegation to Ligue 2. david blitzer would therefore have more ideas, regardless of the outcome of this 2021-2022 season.
It should be noted that the executive management of AS Saint-Étienne has indicated that it is not aware of the interest of david blitzer.
