The “Okinawa Times” reported that according to observations by the Meteorological Agency, the center of this year’s No. 11 typhoon Haikui at 9 a.m. on the 28th was located off the coast of the Mariana Islands and was moving westward at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour. The current central air pressure is 996 hPa , The maximum wind speed near the center is 18 meters per second, and the maximum instantaneous wind speed is 25 meters per second.

The Japan Meteorological Association predicts that between August 30 and September 2, Okinawa and Amami may be affected by Typhoon Sura and Typhoon Haikui, whose center is near the Philippines. There will be severe weather such as strong storms, rain, and long waves. It is necessary to pay attention to the future path of the typhoon.

The Meteorological Agency observed this year’s No. 9 typhoon Sura. At 12:00 noon on the 28th, the center was in the sea east of the Philippines, and it was heading north at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour. The Okinawa Meteorological Observatory predicts that Sura will then head towards southern Okinawa and approach the Yaeyama area around the 30th.

This year’s No. 10 typhoon Than Shwe is off the coast of Northeast Japan. The Japan Meteorological Agency predicts Than Shwe will gradually move away from Japan. The center of Typhoon Danrui is located in the sea about 230 kilometers east of Miyaya City, Iwate Prefecture at 12:00 noon today. It is moving north-northeast at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour. The current central pressure is 990 hPa, and the maximum wind speed near the center is 23 per second. meters, and the maximum instantaneous wind speed is 35 meters per second. The Japan Meteorological Agency predicts that Than Shwe will turn eastward away from Japan today.
