Reutte – The black-red Tyrolean state government presented a “Fernpass package” for the busy, transit-plagued Fernpass route at a press conference in Reutte on Wednesday. State Governor Anton Mattle (ÖVP) now wants to get serious regarding tunnel projects and announced the construction of the second tunnel tube of the Lermoos Tunnel and the construction of the Fernpass Tunnel. In total, the construction projects are expected to cost around 500 million euros.
