U15: 5-2 win and perhaps the best performance this season
From the first to the last minute, our U15 dominated AKA Austria Vienna and finally deservedly won 5:2. The game was played at a high tempo, with the Styrians having more possession of the ball throughout the game. Our team played attractive, direct football and Austria simply couldn’t cope with the intensity of the game.
The guests were superior in all phases of the game and forced Austria to play a kind of “kick-and-rush” football that achieved nothing. The Graz team went into the break with a 1-0 lead, came out of the locker room in the second half as if unleashed and defeated the Viennese with consistent shots.
The Viennese were able to score two goals, but never really had the upper hand. It was a united team performance with five different goal scorers. Adrian Pojer, Timo Petritsch, Maurice Lackner, Timo Kröger and Jano Nachbagauer were able to get on the scorers list.
