SCR Altach has signed the Austrian U21 team player Pascal Estrada. The central defender, who currently plays for NK Olimpija Ljubljana, will move to Vorarlberg in the summer. He will receive a contract with the Rheindörfer until the summer of 2026 with an option for another season, as the Altach team announced on Tuesday.

Estrada, who was born in Linz, went abroad as a teenager. At the age of 16, he moved to England to Wolverhampton Wanderers before moving to Slovenia in 2022. He won the double with Olimpija last year, but Estrada only played a few minutes in the current championship. The 21-year-old’s contract with the Laibach team expires in the summer. According to Altacher, an agreement might not be reached in the winter.
