Jeddah, May 26 / WAM / The UAE beach soccer team has officially qualified for the World Beach Games, which will be held on the island of Bali, Indonesia, next August.
The qualification of the UAE national team came following its victory this evening, Friday, over its Saudi counterpart, 5-4, in the semi-finals of the Asian national team qualifiers, whose competitions are currently being held in Jeddah. The UAE national team will meet its Iranian counterpart, who in turn beat Japan 4-3 in the same round, in the final match scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, where the two sides of the meeting will qualify together for the finals of the World Beach Games in Bali.
