UAE Midday Break Law Violations: 96 Companies Fined for Work Violations

Abu Dhabi ∙ The Ministry of Manpower Indigenization has said that 96 companies in the UAE have violated the midday break law. 1.13 lakh tests were conducted from June 15 to September 15. Violations such as making them work from 12.30 pm to 3 pm and not providing rest facilities were recorded. Companies that violated the law were fined up to a maximum of Dh500,000 per person and up to a maximum of Dh500,000 per person.
