The UAE is committed to working with OPEC+ to make decisions that will ensure the stability of the global oil market, said UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohammed Al Mazrouei.

The global oil market is vast and involves many variables and equations, including geopolitical situations around the world, he stressed on the sidelines of the 11th edition of the World Government Summit which began on Monday in Dubai.

Quoted by the UAE Press Agency, he also said that the ministry is working on upgrading the UAE’s electric vehicle system by adding new stations and entering into more partnerships with major global companies. in order to boost the growth of the sector, noting that “this will increase the number of electric vehicles used in the country and reduce the carbon footprint of the transport sector”.

According to him, the ministry aims to set fair prices for the private sector to encourage them to invest in fast charging stations for electric vehicles, thereby placing the UAE among the leading countries in the world in terms of charging infrastructure. electric vehicles and charging speed.
