UAE’s Space Missions: Expanding Horizons and Pioneering Discoveries

Dubai: Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan said that the UAE is ready for new space missions. He was speaking following meeting with astronaut Sultan Al Niadi and the Saeed Ambition Two team at the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center.

Sheikh Hamdan said that Sultan Al Niadi’s six-month long space mission has marked a new milestone in the space history of the UAE and the Arab world. Sheikh Hamdan is also the chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre. Sheikh Hamdan personally congratulated Sultan Al Niadi, who completed the first long-duration space mission from the Arab world, and Hessa Al Mansoori, the UAE’s first astronaut.

Sheikh Hamdan also addressed the team leading the Zayed 2 space mission, which aims to realize the dreams of UAE President Sheikh Zayed. Sheikh Hamdan stated that the UAE is ready to undertake any space mission with the aim of supporting humanitarian activities and scientific missions around the world.
