Ubisoft Launches Major Seasonal Updates for For Honor and Rainbow Six Siege

Ubisoft has launched Year 10 Season 3 Blood Hunt for For Honor and Year 11 Season 3 Operation Split Fire for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, introducing major character skins, ranked playlists, weapon balancing, and Halloween-themed updates across both competitive tactical titles.

Ubisoft has deployed concurrent seasonal updates across two of its major tactical multiplayer titles, bringing substantial gameplay adjustments, new character additions, and seasonal events to both For Honor and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.

Blood Hunt Arrives in For Honor With Guljin and the Keeper of Chains

In For Honor: Year 10 Season 3: „Blood Hunt, the ongoing narrative advances following the Griffin uprising. Guljin solidifies her rule by unleashing the Keeper of Chains into a desolate region of Ashfeld, where a mysterious opponent rules through combat and bloodshed. The two warriors collide in a confrontation lasting until dawn, setting the stage for seasonal conflict and upcoming Halloween throwbacks.

The update brings a new ranked mode, a fresh hero skin, and a new Battle Pass.

Operation Split Fire Alters Rainbow Six Siege Tactical Meta

Meanwhile, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege enters its eleventh year with Operation Split Fire. The headlining addition is Noor, a new Egyptian Defender equipped with the Horus Lance Launcher, a gadget specifically engineered to counter shield Operators while expanding defensive options. Noor fields a primary loadout of either the Commando-9 or the Alda 5.56, paired with a TACOPS 1911 or Bailiff 410 secondary weapon.

Map adjustments accompany the character additions. Villa receives a targeted layout overhaul, relocating the underused Living Room and Library objective site directly into the basement to make alternative objectives more viable for defenders.

Operator Balancing and Competitive Playlists

Beyond new character additions, the Siege update implements comprehensive balance changes. Operators including Kali and Dokkaebi receive gameplay adjustments, alongside rebalancing passes for Lion, Echo, Kapkan, and Claymores.

Competitive structures also shift with the introduction of the Legend Division ranked playlist, tailored specifically for players who have achieved Champion Rank. Scheduled to launch mid-season, the playlist mandates ShieldGuard Secure Platform verification and two-factor authentication.

Arcade Modes and Seasonal Events

Both titles introduce alternative queues to diversify gameplay. Rainbow Six Siege adds a fast-paced 3v3 Arcade mode alongside Wasteland Circuit, which transforms drones into racers, while Doktor’s Curse returns later in the season with new Operators joining the Halloween festivities.
