Ubisoft’s ‘The Settler’ PC version officially released on March 17th

Ubisoft Entertainment announced today that the PC version of its real-time strategy game (RTS) ‘The Settlers’ will be officially released on March 17th.

The Settler, which is being developed under the leadership of Ubisoft Düsseldorf, has been rebooted with inspiration from the most popular ‘The Settler 3’ and ‘The Settler 4’ among the existing Settler franchise series. The Settler is developed with Ubisoft’s exclusive snowdrop engine, and it is expected to provide a high level of immersion to the player through graphics that feel much fresher than previous works and visual and aesthetic production unique to the RTS genre.

The Settler begins with Elari, one of the in-game factions, leaving their hometown and settling in a new unknown land. They explore uncharted lands, gather resources, build settlements, and face the natives and perform various challenges. There are a total of three factions in The Settlers, each with a different background story, fighting style, and unique appearance.

The Settler includes a variety of game modes such as single-player campaign, onslaught, and skirmish, and PvP mode for up to 8 players, including solo and co-op, will also be available to enjoy.

The Settler will conduct a closed beta test (CBT) for five days from the 20th to the 24th, and during this period, you can preview some of the main game modes in the game. The Settler is currently available for pre-order through Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games store, and is available in Standard Edition, Entdecker Edition, and Deluxe Edition. More information about The Settlers game and CBT can be found on the official website.
