When UBS exercises its right of scrutiny over Credit Suisse clients, it results in an asset exit not grateful, that is to say essentially those of Russian customers. According to our colleagues in the Sunday edition of the The New Zurich Times, three quarters of the Russian clients of the bank with the two veils should leave because the risks, in particular reputational, would be too high for UBS. Starting, unsurprisingly, with those domiciled abroad.

If it is not obvious to know the extent of the damage, one thing is certain: Russian customers of Credit Suisse will have no choice but to accept the closure of their account.
