And the British news agency “YA Media” reported that the camera took pictures of the Spanish team’s fans performing the Nazi salute during the first leg of the quarter-final match that was held at Al-Ittihad Stadium.
On Friday, UEFA said it had initiated disciplinary proceedings against Atletico Madrid, accusing the club of discriminatory behavior as well as throwing things.
The European Union’s Oversight, Ethics and Disciplinary Authority will issue its decision in this matter in due course.
Manchester City will enter the return match against Atletico Madrid, which will be held next week, and they won the first leg with a clean goal scored by Kevin De Bruyne in the 70th minute.
