President Alexander Chevrin’s body does not rule out other sanctions that hit Barcelona at various levels, including large financial penalties, which would increase the club’s economic suffering, which was forced to activate the levers in order to strengthen its ranks with international stars.
The Spanish Federation submitted a detailed report that gathered all the details of the case, and placed it on the table of Chevrin, who will not hesitate to punish the team, especially since FC Barcelona was among the founding clubs of the European Super League.
The European Commission refuses the participation of clubs involved in similar abuses in its competitions, and does not hesitate to punish those involved in order to preserve an ideal image of football in the old continent, as it calls on every occasion for the necessity of adhering to the regulations of sportsmanship.
Depriving Barcelona of participating in the Champions League will cost material losses, as UEFA grants financial rewards to participating clubs, and thanks to strong matches, large incomes are generated from ticket sales and product marketing.
