The 2022/23 UEFA Europa Conference League group stage draw airs live from 2:30 p.m. on August 26. It takes place in Istanbul (Turkey).
Which teams are in the draw?
The entry list is subject to change by UEFA.
The draw includes 32 known teams on August 25:
• 22 UEFA Europa Conference League play-off winners
• 10 teams transferred from UEFA Europa League play-offs
Operation of the draw
• The 32 clubs are divided into four pots of eight according to their ranking in the club coefficient established at the start of the season and the principles set by the Club Competitions Committee.
• Teams will be split into eight groups of four, each containing one team from each hat.
• Clubs from the same association cannot be drawn against each other. Further restrictions will be announced before the draw
• To ensure that paired clubs from the same country (including those playing in the UEFA Europa League) have different kick-off times wherever possible, the eight groups will be distinguished by a colour: Groups A to D in red and Groups E to H in blue. When a paired club is drawn, for example, in one of the red groups, the other paired club – once drawn – is automatically assigned to one of the blue groups. Pairings are confirmed before the draw.

The groups are played on Thursdays from 8 September to 3 November, the same evening as the UEFA Europa League matches, with kick-off given at 6.45pm and 9pm.
The group winners qualify for the knockout stages.
The second group advance to the knockout stage play-offs, where they will face eight teams that finished third in their UEFA Europa League group.
