UEFA Nations League: A difficult win for the Netherlands once morest Belgium
The Dutch national team defeated its guest Belgium, 1-0, on Sunday, in the sixth round of the European Nations League.
The two teams exchanged possession and opportunities in the first half of the match, but the result remained the same (0-0).
In the second half of the match, the two teams strengthened their offensive presence in order to snatch the goal of progress.
And in the 73rd minute, Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk scored the winning goal for “The Mills” with a tight header.
With this victory, the Netherlands reached the 16th point at the top of the group, while Belgium’s balance froze at the 10th point in the 2nd place.
