The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) terminated the contract with Gazprom, reports RIA Novosti.

The decision became known on Monday, February 28. It takes effect immediately and applies to all existing agreements, including the Champions League, national team competitions and the European Championship 2024.

Earlier it was reported that FIFA and UEFA suspended Russia from participation in all competitions. Teams and clubs from Russia will not be able to take part in tournaments under the auspices of the organization.
