UFC presents the boxing star as Kendrick Lamar

Boxing star Terence Crawford was mistaken for Kendrick Lamar during last night’s UFC 306 at the Sphere in Las Vegas.

Terence Crawford eller Kendrick Lamar?

Undefeated boxing world champion Terence Crawford had a funny mix-up during the UFC 306. Gala that took place at the Sphere in Las Vegas. He was mistaken for the Grammy Award-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar. Crawford, who sat ringside with the influential boxing figure Türkiye Alalshikhbecame the subject of confusion. This when the camera panned over their seats and mistakenly labeled him as Lamar.

The mistake was quickly noticed by fans and fighters alike. Including the former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterlingwho jokingly wrote on Twitter: “Terance Crawford evolved into Kendrick Lamar tonight.” Crawford, known for her good humor, hung up and shared a screenshot from the broadcast with the caption “Damn Kendrick Lamar“. This is followed by two smiling emojis.


Sean O’Malley was defeated in the main event

Crawford’s presence at UFC 306 was not unexpected given his interest in martial arts outside of boxing. He attended the historic UFC event at The Sphere, the long-awaited new arena in Las Vegas, known for its cutting-edge technology and impressive fan experiences. Earlier in the evening, Crawford had been across the street at the T-Mobile Arena, where his potential future opponent, Canelo Alvarezsecured a dominant victory over Edgar Berlanga to retain their super middleweight world titles.

In the main event of UFC 306, the organization’s bantamweight belt was on the line. The reigning champion Sean O’Malley lost on points against Merab Dvalishvili. Check out Kimura’s match report from that clash here.
