UFC. What a victory for the Pole in the main event in Las Vegas

Marcin Tybura (25-8) defeated Tai Tuivasa (15-7) in the main event of UFC Las Vegas. Despite major problems at the beginning of the fight, the Pole managed to submit the Australian in great style at the end of the first round.

Tybura took several strong blows, and one of them cut the skin on the head of the player from Uniejów. Blood quickly flooded Tybura’s face, and the rival continued his offensive. The next blows hit the 38-year-old, but he was still on his feet.

Finally, the Pole managed to bring his opponent to the ground. There, “Tybur” dealt the cards. The former M-1 Global champion quickly got behind Tai Tuivasa and landed blows to his head over and over again. Finally, he managed to lock in a tight choke that his opponent didn’t want to release for a long time. The referee did it for him and noticed that the Australian was losing consciousness. The fight ended after 4 minutes and 8 seconds.

Marcin Tybura won a valuable victory over a higher-rated rival. Thanks to him, he can count on a promotion in the UFC heavyweight rankings. It currently ranks 10th.

The Ankos MMA Poznań fighter won the 12th fight in the largest MMA organization in the world and returned to the path of victories after a quick defeat against Tom Aspinall in July last year. This is his first submission triumph in the UFC.

In turn, Tai Tuivasa suffered its fourth defeat in a row. “Bam Bam” has been fighting in the UFC since 2017 and so far he has finished most of his fights ahead of time, leaving behind, among others, Derrick Lewis or Andrei Arłowski.
